We have gathered a list of educational camps to keep your keiki busy and thriving! 

JACK’S DIVING LOCKER SUMMER CAMP

Dates:  June 3, 2024 – July 22, 2024  

Location: 75-5813 Ali’i drive, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740

Snorkel, Scuba, and Marine Life Education! Campsack’s Diving Locker has been offering scuba and snorkeling programs for kids and teens since 1987 that emphasize ocean ecology, marine life conservation, and environmental stewardship.  All camps are 5 days unless otherwise noted. They offer various sea camps for ages six to eighteen years old.

OHANA  MARITAL ARTS

Ohana Martial arts is gearing up for another amazing summer at Kealakehe Elementary school! Ohana Martial Arts is a non-profit Dojo located in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, providing fun, quality and affordable martial arts and sports training.

THE YMCA NEW HORIZONS YOUTH DAY CAMP

Dates: May 31, 2024- August 2, 2024

Location: 300 W.Lanikaula Street Hilo, HI 96720

The YMCA will have various activities that are supervised by Youth Leaders that support a healthy mind, body and spirit!  

Camp runs daily:  Monday – Friday. Children ages 5½ to 13 years old.

Youth Camp Goals:

  • Leadership Development
  • Cultural Diversity
  • Strengthening Healthy Relationship skills

General YMCA Lifetime Membership is required for a one-time $50.00 non-refundable membership fee. Non-refundable application processing fee of $25.00 for new applications.

KEALAKEHE HIGH SCHOOL STEM CAMP

Dates: June 3, 2024 – June 5, 2024

Location: Kealakehe High School

A three day educational STEM Camp designed to engage students in various activities that are hands on and in a fun, interactive environment. Offered to children in grades 3-8.

 

COUNTY OF HAWAI’I PROGRAMS

The County of Hawai‘i Department of Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the 2024 Summer Fun Programs, which provide recreational opportunities for teens and youth at locations island-wide during summer break.

The program offers 16 Summer Fun Programs for elementary-aged children who have completed Kindergarten to 6th grade; five teen enrichment programs; and two specialized enrichment programs.
