The future of the West Hawaii community is our young people. We look to them for solving the problems of our island for the next generation of residents and visitors on this island.
In support of education and career growth, LUVA Realtor, Samar Obra, is spearheading the second annual Wahine Workshop on September 25th, 2019 from 5-6:30 at the Pink Mocha Cafe in north Kona. The Wahine workshop was founded by Samar, who grew up in Holualoa, graduated from Kealakehe High School, and later UH Manoa. After working in real estate in Kona she created the Wahine Workshop with the intent of giving back to the community that nurtured her to become a successful entrepreneur.
The Wahine Workshop is lead by women who are successful local business owners and want to inspire young girls by example. The purpose of the event is to give girls the tools, information, and resources they need to accomplish their professional education and career goals. The workshop is a free event for ages 13-18.
For more information, contact Samar and reserve your seat HERE on Eventbrite. There will be refreshments, sweet treats, and a drawing with prizes that was generously donated by Wahine Workshop contributors and LUVA Real Estate. Contributors include 101 Salon and Spa, Ehukai Sport and Spine, Modern Milestones Hawaii, Pink Mocha Cafe, Hakus By Ki, Pineapple Blush Boutique and Bleu Cupcakery.
We are proud of our LUVA Real Estate agents who benefit our community! On Saturday September 14th, our agents will be at Konaweana Elementary School helping with a landscaping project to make the school more functional for the students. We support our agents volunteering their time and energy in West Hawaii to make an impact.
