A prominent building in downtown Hilo, the Palace Theatre has been entertaining the community through films, shows, and live events since the 1920’s. All varieties of shows are shown at the theater including festivals, documentaries, independents, and screen classics. It also is a popular gathering place for music festivals, ballets, and halaus.

Rich with history, the People’s Theatre in Honoka’a was built in the 1930’s and is Hawaii Island’s largest with its 525 seat movie theatre. The theatre streams independent films, mainstream films and live events.
